Millions of years old fossils, many springs, burial mounds from the Bandkeramiek, Roman Villa (next to the campsite), Vakwerkhoeven, Steamtrambaan (next to the campsite), the 4 countries with Neutral Moresnet to well-intact parts of the Westwall from WWII on the Snow Mountain ( again next to the campsite).

Geology of South Limburg
Vaals lies on the edge of a dead volcano and Aachen is located in the middle of the crater. You can still see that ... around Aachen the roads run up and towards the center down. You can also smell and taste this at the
